Pre Alpin Wiesencobs is a totally natural product, containing more than 60 different types of grasses and herbs grown in the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. The special harvesting methods and the smooth, careful drying procedure prevent a nutrientconsuming secondary fermentation. It preserves the grass’ leaves and seeds’ integrity – thus producing a hygienically high-quality basic feed that provides your horse a unique biodiversity.

The plant structure is still clearly visible after pressing. Warm air-drying largely prevents the growth of moulds and their toxic metabolic waste products that are frequently known with low-quality hay and silage. Horses suffering from allergies and those with a sensitive digestive system benefit from the significantly better hygiene and the dust-free final product.

Soak Pre Alpin Wiesencobs in water to satisfy the roughage requirements of horses suffering from tooth or chewing problems. This is especially recommended for seniors to counteract loss in weight. Pre Alpin has been designed as an appropriate alternative to roughage or to upgrade the daily hay or silage ration or to substitute the concentrated feed for horses on a low or grain-free diet. The positive effects on digestion and dietary condition will already become visible if big horses are fed 2 kg per day.
