Mineral complex to support the carbohydrates metabolism

Glucogard was designed as a nutrients concentrate for horses with metabolic disorders. The glucose and insulin metabolism depends on B complex vitamins and mineals, such as
magnesium, zinc, manganese and trivalent chromium. Cell protective vital substances such as vitamin E and selenium contribute to the integrity of the insulin molecules and to the protection of the sensitive hoof corium. Nutrients from brewer's yeast and certain feed herbs support the insulin in controlling the blood sugar levels. For nutrient supplementation in case of metabolic discords and during grazing season. Supplies minerals in pure roughage rations.

Feeding recommendation: (e.g. as an addition with Equigard or pure roughage rations)
- For acute metabolicproblems:
approx 50 g per 100 kg body weight and day;
if required, mix it with water and administer using a mouth syringe.
- For metabolic- and hoof support, especially during critical weather- and grazing
situations:
approx 18-20 g per 100 kg body weight and day until the required weight is
reached or permanently if insulin function is impaired.
1 measuring cup = approx 120 g

Due to a higher vitamin and trace element content compared to complete feed, this
complementary feed may only be fed to horses as up to 2,9 % of their daily rations (incl. hay).
