Complementary feed for horses

Brandon® xs is a molasses-free feed and is suitable for horses with normal performance requirements that require a low-glycemic feed. Brandon® xs is the standard version. Through a special processing process (lactofermentation), the easily digestible carbohydrates are bound in β-glycosidic form and are therefore not enzymatically broken down and resorbed in the small intestine, as is usual, but mostly reach the large intestine, where they are fermented. As a result, the standard version Brandon® xs has a relatively low glycemic index despite the grain content and is suitable as:

• Concentrated feed for horses with normal performance requirements
• Complete feed for old horses and horses that should temporarily do without hay and straw due to problems
• Concentrated feed in combination with grain (e.g. oats) for horses with high performance requirements
• Follow-up feed according to Brandon® xl. A change is only recommended in certain cases and in consultation with the veterinarian

Feeding recommendation:
0.5-1.0 kg per 100 kg body weight and day in at least 3 servings. Hay ad libitum or as directed by the veterinarian.

1 liter corresponds to approx. 700 g

Feeding advice:
This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 71.4% of the daily ration (including hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed. Please adhere to the feeding recommendation.
