Breeding horses properly cared for
A deficiency in β-carotene, which often occurs in the winter months, can lead to fertility problems in brood mares and stallions. Delayed ovulation, poor mating behavior, poor sperm quality and a low fertilization rate can be the consequences. The need for β-carotene is also increased during the development of the embryo. β-Carotene Mare-Y-Mix has proven itself particularly in the winter feeding of breeding horses.
Feeding recommendation:
Offer approx. 20 g per 100 kg body weight and day with forage. We recommend daily supplementary feeding for broodmares and stallions, especially in the period from December to April. Note: Not suitable for mineralization to meet requirements.
